When you give monthly, your contribution becomes a reliable and consistent funding source. This allows us to better address the evolving needs of our community.
Monthly Giving empowers you to contribute an amount that aligns with your personal budget. Your pledge will be automatically charged to your credit card each month, and you will receive a consolidated tax receipt at the end of the year.
What a lovely way to remember the people you love, honour their achievements, mark a milestone or celebrate with them; a donation to help individuals and families move beyond violence. Give to recognize someone special and notify the person you honour by letter or email. You will receive a tax receipt for your donation.
A memorial gift is a wonderful way to honour those who have passed away. Your support will continue to impact our community in the legacy of your loved one. Give in memory of a loved one and notify family members of your donation should you wish them to know.

Donating securities, including stocks, bonds, and mutual funds, is the most efficient way to give charitably. Since capital gains taxes don’t apply, you can give more and get more.
Note: Our policy is to sell stock that is received immediately and to receipt at the value that is sold.

A planned gift is a charitable donation which can be arranged during your lifetime but is not available to PearlSpace until sometime in the future. You can make a bequest in your Will or name PearlSpace as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy, a security or mutual fund, or a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP). These planned gifts offer financial benefits while allowing you to give generously and leave a legacy that will continue to impact others.
Bequests in Your Will
Estate planning doesn’t need to be complicated. A bequest is the property or money that you promise to give to another person or organization and can be as simple as including a sentence in your will, such as:

Many Canadian companies like to support charities in their communities and offer employer giving to their employees. Each company sets its gift guidelines, but submitting a request is usually straightforward. Some companies will match your gift dollar for dollar, and some even match gifts from employees’ spouses and retirees.

Organize a Fundraiser
PearlSpace encourages the efforts of volunteers or workplaces who would like to organize a fundraiser with proceeds benefitting our programs and services.
To provide you with the necessary advice and support to make your fundraiser a success, please contact us well in advance and before you start making plans at contact info.
Gifts-In-Kind
Did you know that 100% of Pearl’s Value & Vintage proceeds support PearlSpace programs and services? These proceeds help fund programs and services such as Pearl’s Place Transition House and PearlSpace Drop-In Centre locations in Squamish and in Whistler which provide food, shelter, emotional support, referrals and advocacy for women, Two Spirit, nonbinary, gender-diverse, trans people, and children/youth who are experiencing intimate partner violence and gender-based violence. Operating Pearl’s Value & Vintage also allows us to give clothes and other necessities to people in need directly and through other non-profit organizations in the Sea to Sky Corridor.
Gently used household goods and clothing can be donated to Pearl’s Value & Vintage Store located at 38128 Cleveland Avenue in Squamish between the hours of:
Donating hours: 10:00 am until 2:00 pm (7 days per week)
Store Hours: 10:00 am until 5:00 pm (7 days per week). Extended hours Thursday and Friday 10:00 am- 7:00 pm
DONATION GUIDELINES
- Donations are accepted at our receiving area (back door) only 7 days a week from 10am-2pm
- Maximum donation per visit = 3 large garbage bags or equivalent
- One donator at a time is permitted inside our receiving room and, like in our store, masks are mandatory
- Soft goods (clothing, linens, fabric, handbags, soft toys, shoes) will be accepted under our outdoor shelter to be added to our quarantine storage container
- Hard goods and miscellany will be accepted inside to be disinfected before being priced
- Please pre-sort your donations; hard surface items separated from soft goods
- We do not accept broken, stained, ripped, dirty or damaged goods
