Confidentiality and the Duty to Report: To maintain a private, secure, and trauma-informed environment, staff and management uphold strict confidentiality of all program participant information, while taking into account the limits of confidentiality and the duty to report in accordance with FIPPA (Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act).

Child Safety: In circumstances where staff become aware of child safety concerns, staff work closely with child protection services. In cases of immediate danger, the RCMP will be called. Staff are required to follow the Provincial Government legal requirements of their “duty to report” under the Child, Family and Community Service Act.

Pearl’s Place Transition House staff and management strive to ensure the space is safe, non-judgmental, trauma-informed, and confidential.

We are committed to the safety and dignity of all folks and their children staying at the house.

We value collaboration with external organizations to meet participants where they are at and to provide wrap around supports.
